Where is ELITE AUTOTUNE based?
We are based at Lakeside in Tredegar. Visits are by appointment, so message or call before travelling and we will confirm a time for your vehicle.
Do you offer mobile ECU remapping?
Yes, by arrangement. We cover Tredegar, Ebbw Vale, Brynmawr, Abertillery, Merthyr Tydfil, Aberdare, Blackwood, Pontypool, Abergavenny, Caerphilly and the surrounding valleys. Suitable longer-distance bookings can also be arranged around Cardiff, Newport, Swansea and Bristol. Send the vehicle details and your location so we can confirm availability.
Do you offer DPF, EGR and AdBlue solutions?
Yes — for road vehicles we provide lawful diagnostics and repair solutions. We do not unlawfully remove or disable emissions-control equipment. Send the fault details and vehicle information so we can confirm the correct route.
Do you only tune premium cars?
No. BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Porsche are a natural fit for our premium focus, but supported everyday makes are welcome. The vehicle needs to be healthy and suitable for the requested calibration.
What is Stage 1 tuning?
Stage 1 is intended for a healthy vehicle using standard performance hardware. The calibration is revised for stronger usable power, torque and response while keeping everyday drivability in mind.
When is Stage 2 appropriate?
Stage 2 is for vehicles with suitable supporting hardware such as intake, exhaust or intercooler upgrades. Tell us exactly what is fitted so we can confirm whether that route makes sense.
Is my original ECU file kept?
Yes. We retain the original ECU read before applying the tuned calibration, keeping a clear route back to the standard file if it is needed later.
Can you tune motorcycles?
Yes, for supported models. Send the make, model, engine, year and any fitted parts. We will confirm support before arranging the appointment.
Do you tune quads and ATVs?
Yes, for supported machines. Tell us whether it is used for work, trail or leisure, plus the exact engine and modifications, and we will recommend the sensible route.
